We were the agency behind Canada’s participation in the UN-declared International Year of Pulses culminating in Pulse Feast, a premiere event that brought together farmers, food processors, media, activists, dietitians and the who’s who of Canadians food scene. We were also the agency behind Taste Canada – Canada’s Food Writing Awards.

I have 25 years of experience in marketing, PR and communications. As a hands-on publicist for more than two decades, I still love to pitch a great story to journalists. I also enjoy writing and have contributed to magazines, newspapers and digital media outlets. I'm most proud of my work as a mentor and industry expert for startups and small businesses. Staring a business takes bravery, tenacity and guts. Entrepreneurs are my heroes. When I'm not working, you'll usually find me in the kitchen trying out new recipes or in the garden collecting seeds.
In January 2009, I co-founded Canada's largest full-service marketing agency that specializes in working with food and drink clients. But after 12 years of working for corporate clients, I felt removed from the actual work I love doing, building successful businesses from the ground up. I had also launched my own drink startup that needed attention. I returned to my roots, making big client thinking available to mission-driven small and medium-sized businesses.
